What's a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs are an increasingly popular way for consumers to join together to gain access to fresh, local foods from a nearby farm. By becoming subscribers to a farm's CSA program, a family can pick up a box of seasonal foods from that farm each week, often at one of several convenient pick-up sites. At the same time, the farm receives a reliable source of funds from its subscribers and can focus on farming instead of sales. Search for a CSA program with pick-up sites near you, and find out whether it has openings for new subscribers.
Do you have a farm, CSA program, or farm stand in central Iowa? If so, please check whether it is already included in the appropriate map and directory on our website. We invite you to add or update the profile for your farm, CSA, or farm stand.
