Kelly Ridenour - Giurato

Kelly is a second-generation Irish American on her father’s side and a first-generation college graduate on her mother’s side. She worked her way through her first round of college as a single mom. She is currently serving as our Director of Development and Project Director for our USDA funded, Regional Food Systems Partnership project. She also sits on the Linn County Food System Council.

Her early career was focused on finance prior to transitioning to, what she considered, more fulfilling work in the non-profit sector. Kelly's background running an impactful nonprofit in the Cedar Rapids area has been an incredible asset to EGDM. Her educational background ranges from Business to a BS in Outdoor Conservation making her uniquely qualified to speak to the economic and environmental impacts of a more sustainable food system. She tops it off with a Master’s in Strategic Leadership from Mount Mercy University. Kelly is helping EGDM move into the next era of our work with her thoughtful insight, communication, and passion for the mission.
